About
My name is Adam Mitchell
I have been in mental health since 2015 when I moved to Louisville with my family. My undergraduate was completed at MTSU and my masters completed at Maryville University in St. Louis. I was in the active Army component and served an extended tour in Iraq as a Cavalry Scout before becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
I enjoy treating all ages but particularly enjoy treating the younger generation. I am well versed in ADHD diagnosis and treatment but treat all mental illness. I also have experience with the community health setting as a prescriber.

Medical Marijauna
At Nourish Mental Health we are able to certify Kentucky residents for a medical marijuana card. We currently only certify for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. If you have a a previous diagnosis of PTSD or believe you may need to be diagnosed for PTSD we can help you! Make an appointment for evaluation and assessment. If you qualify you will be given certification within 24 hours allowing you to apply for a Kentucky Medical Marijuana Card.

Medical marijuana assessments are a $200 cash charge and do not apply to insurance. Insurance at this time also does not pay for marijuana.
